FU#5 cover reveal and other interesting news...

View the teaser cover for the next issue of Fantastique Unfettered, along with some possible bonuses for accepted AeA contributors, over at The Aether Age zine.  We understand that contributing to shared world markets can present a chancy proposition to authors: if rejected, what do you do with the story?  Due to the story length and the stratified tech eras, we've arranged it so authors may fairly easily adapt their story back into a more typical steampunk, sf, or fantasy tale.  It's an iffy sort of path: we certainly don't want 'typical' anything.  But let's see if this makes it easier to take the plunge.  We hope to publish something awesome by month's end.  Maybe you have something that is just about right.

Issue #4 Reviewed on Locus Online

"Another example of the kind of zine I tend to like, when done well: surreal and strange fantasy based on unusual ideas. This one is clearly a labor of love. It has a variety of content: fiction, verse, interviews and other editorial matter, and full-page illustrations. The issue features Mike Allen and Hal Duncan. There are seven original stories..."

Lois Tilton goes on to comment on the over-all feel/theme of the issue and includes short comments on the 7 original stories.
